NIGERIAN BOTTLING COMPANY PLC (RC 902)

PLANT PURCHASING OFFICERS – REF PPO/10/10

Key Accountabilities
• Ensure purchases made in the Plant comply with governance guidelines,
executed in time and within approved budget
• Manage procurement related complaints and claims for received goods and
services
• Oversee performance of suppliers and contractors in the Plant within health
and safety policies

Requirements
• First degree in Numerical Sciences, Finance, Supply Chain or Technical
discipline
• 3 to 5 years experience in Finance or Supply Chain related activities with
good understanding of Warehouse and Logistics principles
• Professional qualification in Supply and Purchasing (CIPS) and MBA would be
desirable.

TECHNICAL BUYER – REF BUY/10/10
Key Accountabilities
• Lead sustainable growth through professional acquisition of quality products
and services
• Timely execute requests of internal customers, minimize cost to serve,
positively influence inventories by proper scheduling & cooperating with
other functions
• Build long term relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Follow through with progress of each purchase order and contract in
cooperation with requestor and supplier until fully executed, properly
received and payment support in order.

Requirements
• First or higher degree in Engineering Sciences
• 3 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain or Finance related activities with
Negotiation experience through related participation in purchasing activities
• Professional qualification in Supply and Purchasing (CIPS) and MBA would be
an added advantage

CENTRAL STORES MANAGER – REF CSM/10/10
Key Accountabilities
• Satisfy and timely execute requests of internal customer while managing
inventory in line with the Company’s policies
• Optimize cost, guarantee quality of products and economic conditions through
knowledge of raw, packaging materials and consumables by category stock in
central stores
• Monitor and manage inventories by FIFO and FEFO according to defined targets
and deadlines

Requirements
• First or higher degrees in Numerical Sciences
• Hands on 8 years experience in procurement, shipping and supply chain
operations out of which 3 must be at middle management level
• Proven ability to use office automation tools especially excel, SUN, BASIS
and SAP knowledge, would be preferred

PLANT LOGISTICS MANAGERS – REF PLM/10/10
Reporting to the Plant Managers, with up to 7 direct reports, the job holder will be:
• Managing a plant supply chain infrastructure, raw materials, glass and
finished products warehousing, products availability and accurate load
compliance to meet the team’s requirement
• Support Plant depot operations with products supplies to forestall out of
stock situations
• Provide strong leadership, training & management support for direct reports
to deliver high standard results

Requirements
• University degree or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics
management
• Minimum 8 years experience, 5 of which must be at managerial level as a
supply chain or logistics management position in FMCG
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages especially spread sheets
